This is a good move to encourage this new technology vehicles with zero emissions. Best of all is the you dont need to use any petrol or deisel. <br /><br />Govt is expecting the electric vehicle market should not be limited to 4-wheelers but also in two and three wheelers too. Battery vehicles can be charged up to 50 paise per km. The are clutchless, noiseless and completely pollution free. <br /><br />Currently REVA is the only manufacturer of battery cars in India. Still they haven't got many customers in India. Those who purchase the vehicle for use in Delhi <br />1. Will get refund on the 12.5% VAT.<br />2. Those who registering the vehicle in Capital will get refund of 2%. <br />3.
